Red Beach

It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Peru, located within the Paracas National Reserve, in the Coastal region. Its temperature ranges between 15°C and 30°C. This cove, approximately 2 km long, has red sand due to volcanic activity that occurred over thousands of years in the Pacific Ocean. Igneous rocks called granodiorites can be seen along the shore, contributing to its unique beauty. The waves of Punta Santa María carry reddish fragments that accumulate on the coast. Its cold waters are influenced by the Humboldt currents.
